Education is important in treating substance Abuse in India as it helps people understand the causes of addiction. It makes people aware of the negative effects of addiction and the importance of healthy habits. Through education and awareness programs, people gain knowledge about the health effects of substance abuse. Many people, especially those living in rural areas, are especially unaware of the dangers of drugs and alcohol. By adding drug Abuse education into school education, we can educate children about the physical, emotional, and social impacts of addiction at an early age. This will ultimately help in lowering India’s substance Abuse rate.
