The Healgen COVID-19 Antigen Test is an in vitro immunochromatographic assay for the detection of nucleocapsid protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2 in nasal swab specimens after the swabs have been added to the virtual transport media from individuals who are suspected of having COVID-19. It is intended to aid in the quick diagnosis of the SARS-CoV-2 infection so as to identify positive cases, isolate those who have it, control the virus, and save lives.
